The next update is in the works. Nothing here is final until it ships, but this is what I'm building.

What's coming

• Freeze your beans. Freezing pauses a coffee's aging so it stays fresh for later. Freeze an entry in place, or duplicate it first and freeze the copy — one bag for now, another stashed away. Take it out of the freezer whenever you like and the aging picks up right where it left off.
• Live brew recording with a supported smart scale. No more typing brew logs by hand: pair an Acaia, Bookoo, or Timemore scale and drive everything from it — start its timer to begin recording, stop it to finish. For pour-overs, your pours are detected automatically and turned into a pour schedule with timings, water targets, and flow rates. For espresso, shot time and final yield are captured for you. Everything is previewed before it lands in your brew log.
• Smaller things. The cellar now sorts from most days off roast to least by default; entries that are ready to brew show their age instead of their roast date; the ‘extra light’ tag is now ‘ultralight’; and library entries have a notes section.

• Brew Diary. A record for every cup, with separate recipe tools for pour-over and espresso, alongside dose, ratio, and water temperature for any method.
• Recipe recall. Brewing a coffee you've made before pulls in your last recipe, grinder, and settings, plus the note you left yourself.
• Coffee Library. Every coffee you've ever logged, grouped by roaster and counted by brews and bags in the cellar.
• Made yours. Light and dark mode, an accent colour of your choosing, and four app icons to pick from.
• Built for iPad. A dedicated split view that puts your list and the coffee or brew you tapped side by side.
• Yours to keep. A one-time purchase with no account, no ads, and no subscription. Your data stays on your device, with iCloud backup and manual import and export.
