Why did I build this?

I have been brewing pour over coffees for the past 8 years and I have increasingly become a huge coffee nerd. Nothing else brings quite the same joy as trying a new bag of coffee from a third wave roastery, or visiting a roaster/cafe when on vacation to bring back a few bags to brew at home.

Unfortunately I tend to buy multiple coffee bags in one go and can't keep track of their resting time. I decided I needed a better way than my janky Excel sheet, so I set out to learn iOS development and make a simple app.

Then thought wouldn't it be nice to also log your brews and compare recipes, and that's when I landed on the current concept. I just wanted to make a tool that made sense to me, and I hope it can help other people.
